Someday, our combined efforts to reach each other again will lead us both into the abyss." After an overthrow of the unwanted factionless government, the war in Chicago is over. To maintain stability, the faction leaders decide to return to the faction system. Because of this, the sixteen-year-olds that chose that year are sent back to their former factions for nine months. Tris falls into a state of depression after the war and her impromptu breakup that occurred at the end of it, and returning back to Abnegation--to the same house as her traitor brother--doesn't help. Tobias remains in Dauntless, but while he isn't exactly despondent, he does feel out of place. He doesn't fit in and cannot go on with normal life after everything that happened. Then, Choosing Day arrives. And history definitely does not repeat itself when Tris goes through the initiation process with her old friends and enemies, her ex-boyfriend, and the new sixteen-year-olds, while citizens of Chicago are mysteriously dying. The second book of Tris is Alive, if you haven't read that one yet I STRONGLY encourage you to read that one first. A year and a half after her death Tris is finally back in Chicago! But since she's back a lot has changed. There are no more factions, there are more secrets people are hiding, and a huge toll has been taken on all of her friends. Will she be able to stay in Chicago or will the Bureau force her to come back? Will she be able to mend the broken relationship/friendships? This is the sequel to Fixing Four that I wrote. This is another after Allegiant fanfiction. After death, Tris haunts Tobias every day and watches over him. It's been like this for 2 and a half years until Tobias attempts to commit suicide. She somehow ends up trapped in Christina's body after saving his life yet Tobias doesn't know it. Will Tobias find out who she really is or will he continue to suffer the loss of Tris? Also in this book the factions still exist but are not active.

Tris and four are alive and well and so is Eric but Jeanine is dead.

Desperate for answers, she sets out to find him, though she finds that the crumbling world around her may prove that task to be difficult. Alliances are formed. Choices are made. War breaks out, and Chicago is heavily involved. Tobias must balance leading a city, commanding an army, and getting his wife back. Tris faces many obstacles and hazards along the way as well, but she pushes through, determined to find her way back to him.

Under a new name and a new appearance, Tris must travel back to Chicago if she is to stop a reckless serial killer. But when she finds out Tobias has moved on, and with someone she would have never expected, everything comes crashing down. But will she stay in order to protect the ones she loves and herself? This is an alternative ending to Allegiant. I own none of the original characters as the amazing Veronica Roth does. But some are a figment of my imagination.
