"Can a lost soul find its way back?" I blurted out to end the silence making him look up at me.
"What do you mean? Back to where?" he asked back with a confused look on his face.
I watched the waves coming Infront of me, and listened to its hushing sound as it hits the sand and it touches the tip of my toes.
"I was just wondering... will I ever get my life back? It's just that- I think I'm losing hope... with all those epiphanies coming in, I just- I feel like they're all better off without me and-" I stopped mid-sentence when he held my chin and ever so lightly turned my face towards him. His thumb then made its way up at the edge of my eye where a tear was barely hanging on.
"Darling, you're not even lost." he stared at me intensely as his hand cupped my cheek.
"You're just a wanderer at the moment... and that's what we all are here, a wanderer-a soul who isn't lost at all." he smiled and tears began to form at the edges of my eyes again.
"You don't have to find your way back. Because it's always been
there and it's right before your eyes... You can't find it because it's not supposed to be found, it's something you have to think about.. something that will need a decision. Now if you want to get your way back, you're always free to do so... all have to do is to decide" He explains as he wiped each and every drop of tear that my eyes set free.
A decision... between life and death?
"If I die, they'd all be happy and I'll just disappear like a sea foam... but If I live..." I glanced at him, he blinks and looks at the sky before he looks down on me with a smile...
