Little did I know that that hour would never come..." Savanah Brixton was your average 16-year old in high school. She thrived off of books, food, money, friends, and good old fashion gossip. But this carefree life of hers is short lived when out at a party with her friends she gets a unexpected phone call from her older sister Edith telling her that her their parents have died in a car crash. With no other option or choice a grieving Savanah is forced in move in with her sister Edith and Edith's fiancé ,Blake, who live in Arizona. This story takes place a year later. Savanah is still mourning the loss of her parents and feeling guilt ridden because she believes their car accident was somehow her fault. Noticing her sisters internal suffering Edith decides that this summer the three of them are going take a trip to their childhood houseboat in Lake Powell, in hopes that this will give Savanah some closure so that she can move forward with her life. If this doesn't work... what will?
