Evelyn is a typical nobody. But she doesn't care. She's doesn't want anyone to notice her. She's not shy, she just doesn't care. She hates the popular kids and their perkiness. Her cynical, sarcastic attitude doesn't exactly leave her the ideal candidate for prom queen. But when she is chosen to do an article exposing the intricacies of popularity, will she have to recreate herself in order to fit the status quo?
