"Through all the thorns emerged a black rose," she muttered under her breath, and continued in nearly a sing song whisper, "Through all the thorns..." raising the bloodied knife, the crimson liquid trailing down her fingers, then down her wrists as it held over it her head, but stopped... 

She looked down at the man. Her grin so devilishly crept across her lips as her eyes glowed with amusement and horror at once. The sound of her voice so soft on the other hand, speaking, "Finish it, the line... Say it." 

The man trembled in the corner of the room. Shaking violently in his own puddle of blood that smeared everywhere from his panicked movements. Stuttering through his collapsed breathing, he dared not to look directly at her, but was petrified to look away as well. "E-Emerged... a... b-black rose." 

She smiled warmly ear to ear with a sigh of relief leaving her body, "How...." her voice deepened slightly, the velvet-like tone dropping to rough leather, "awfully darling..."
