Darwinism states evolution takes place through natural selection whereby the individual's ability to compete, survive and reproduce will determine the outcome of a species.
First, there were the Primordial Deities, then the Titans, and now the Olympians rule Mount. Olympus. But what happens when the next generation of gods, Theos, are born and Zeus feels they'll steal the throne? The King of the Gods discriminates against the evolved Theos, where their lives are constantly on the line. He barely tolerates their being, at the law that his own children must never produce Theos, for His kin will surely overthrow Him, as He did His own father.
But Rydia happens to be just that.
For years she hides beneath Zeus' nose until His prophet tells Him that a Theos has been concealed. Rydia's parents, Apollo and Athena, further send her into a life of invisibility that she cannot bear. The daughter of wisdom and the sun must remain a hidden Theos or be sentenced to Zeus' lightning bolt - both of which she fears and neither of which she can withstand.
