As the King's eldest son comes upon his twenty first year, the people eagerly anticipate the choosing of his bride, their soon-to-be future Queen. But as the day draws nearer, an announcement is sent throughout the whole kingdom, sending for all young ladies to come and attend a month long masked ball at the castle, with the winner being made his wife.

Meanwhile, Isabell, a young woman serving in the confines of a dirty estate is given a once in a lifetime opportunity: an invitation to the ball, extended to her by a distant aunt. She reluctantly agrees to go, as the only eligible young lady of the family. But things take a turn for the unexpected when Isabell finds herself falling in love with one of the castle servants instead.

Facing off against impossible odds and cruel competitors, she'll have to choose between freedom and love.
