Carter has voice in her that keeps her confidence level low. She lives in the past a lot, as 19 year old girl you wouldnt expect to still be cutting. She feels that everyone around her is growing up emotionally while she is still being the depressed girl she was when she was 14. Carter has bipolar feeling where she doesnt know how she feels about things cause of that voice in her. (she is not crazy) the voice in her is a part of her like you could say the opposite but bullys her. Things change when she meets Tony Perry.
