My love of poetry has helped me get through many things so I think it is important to share this with you guys as I am now prepared to do that

Dark Poetry
just some poems I wrote when I'm feeling low or in a dark place, my poems help me cope with my depression and other mental problems it also helps me from going all the way down in my dark times. these poems are dark, depressing and some have suicide in them, if you don't like poems like that I wouldn't recommend reading this. You ever wanted something so much, but you know it's bad for you, so you try and you try not to want it, but that need for it only grows stronger? Well if you have, that's me right now. It sucks you know. Wanting something so badly. Wanting to give in so bad to the temptation. You tell yourself over and over and over again that it's bad for you. That you'll survive without it. But deep down, you know you can't. You know you won't. And it scares you to death. Because that thing you want so badly, will only hurt you in the end.Complete

"Damn it, Mason, you can't fix me. I'm not some used car that needs an oil change." I'm standing at the edge of my driveway. If I take one step towards that house, then I go back to my life. The life I've had since Mason left. Since he abandoned me. If I turn around. If I take one second to look into his eyes. I don't think I'll be able to resist throwing myself in his arms. "I'm shattered, Mason. Like a dusty vase that's been ignored for too long." "You know the best thing about broken vases, Mel? You just need three things to make them whole." I decide to go along with his speech. "Faith, trust, and pixie dust?" I muse. "Tape, glue, and someone willing to fix it. And I'm right here, Mel."Complete
A Bad Boy's Worst Nightmare (Book 1)
She didn't reply and I felt her finger move across my skin, lower, and almost all the way down my lower back. A shiver coursed through my body, strangely pleasant, and I felt her finger stop. "Your tattoos are beautiful," she said softly. Too close. She was too close. My pulse was hammering and I could feel her cool breath against my skin when she spoke, and my body was warm from having felt her. I couldn't reply. My breathing was light and shaken. I wanted to just turn around and pull her against me, or rather put her against a wall, so I could kiss her and feel her more properly against me. If she touched me again, I wasn't sure that I could keep myself from doing just that. "I'm going to take a shower," I said suddenly in an attempt to escape. She didn't stop me, so I took that opportunity to walk away. When I reached the bathroom, I took a deep breath to steady myself as well as my pulse. Closing the door behind me, I ran a hand through my hair. She truly was a nightmare. A bad boy's worst nightmare was a girl that made him want to be a good one.Complete
