Living the life of a semi pirate wasn't always easy.
Well, for starters, there was fish gutting, carrying heavy objects, running from guards, oh- and we can't forget about the one forbidden thing of the sea.
Love.
You can't fall in love if you're a pirate- it's just not sea like.
Nerissa has a hard time trying to figure out what she wants. Love, or the sea. She was forced to take over her father's ship and become a pirate, but she wasn't sure if it's still what she wants.

She is then suddenly thrown into the world of pirates between a cruel old captain and a dashing young sailor who had a tendency to get under her skin. Then when old Captain Williams recognizes Victoria's necklace as being connected to a treasure known as the Wishing Stone all of the stories Victoria was told as a child became real and she has to try to keep the stone's power out of the wrong hands.
