Sadie,  transfers as a junior to a new school after she moves to Florida, and her cousin,Jacey,  attends the same school. Sadie meets the football jock star (Dustyn) and he falls for her, even though he has a girlfriend. He is not the nicest of guys, but she changes him. He has a secret though, only his family, he, and the football coach know… he has cancer. He refuses treatment and is given about 2 years to live enough to finish out high school. He does not tell her about this or anyone else not wanting anyone to treat him differently. He continues to play football, and act as if nothing is wrong, but he has something planed, something big.
