Since my rebirth, my life has been shrouded in confusion and strangeness. Angry voices constantly echo around me, tormenting me with accusations:

"Killer!"
"Cruel, you are the most evil person on earth!"
"You don't deserve to live!"
"You'll never get what you want!"

I am haunted by my past, desperately trying to atone for my sins in search of freedom, but I have failed time and time again.

A year later, I rose to become the leader of the Elite group, hoping that with divine providence, I could finally find the peace I so desperately craved. But fate had other plans.

I encountered a person from my past, someone who claimed to know me. "I know you are a woman, Hoka," they said. "Seriously?! We've been friends since childhood. Have you forgotten?" But their words only brought more pain. "You should be dead..." they accused. "You destroyed our happy family!"

Despite the relentless accusations, I can't help but wonder if everyone has their own motives, exploiting the opportunities I provide. Love, friendship, lust, revenge... Can they truly be loyal if I give them what they desire?

"𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐄𝐑'𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓" [SLOW UPDATE] Book 2 in "Dark Fate" series. "Obsession is like a wildfire, consuming everything in its path even friendships and boundaries." • ✧ • They say when you are being watched, you can feel it - the prickling at the back of your neck, the weight in the air, the chill sliding down your spine. I used to think that was just paranoia. Until it wasn't. It started with the messages. Words from someone I had never met, written with a sharpness that made my skin crawl. He knew things no stranger should know - where I went, who I loved, what I feared. He knew me better than I knew myself. And when I didn't listen, the threats began. Subtle at first, like warnings. Then louder. Bolder. Until the person I cared for most was dragged into the nightmare I couldn't escape. His presence followed me like a second skin. Flowers left on my doorstep that didn't feel like gifts. Letters soaked in something darker than ink. Whispers in the silence that promised: "You're mine. You have always been mine." And yet, no face. No name. Only the weight of knowing someone, somewhere, would do anything to keep me - even if it meant destroying everything I touched. I have tried to run from him. I have tried to hide behind new places, new people, and new walls. But the truth is simple: there's no distance wide enough, no lock strong enough, to keep a monster out when his obsession runs deeper than love. He's still out there. Watching. Waiting. And the scariest part? I think he's closer than I will ever know.

'No, he didn't'. I was so shocked by the turn of events. Everything was going fine and then suddenly boom, everything turned upside down. I just couldn't believe this. What did he think of himself? 'Leave me alone.' I said firmly but his hold on me was so strong. I was struggling to get out of his bear hold but to no avail. 'Oh!! So, the poor lady thinks that I will leave her alone and just let her go free?' He had that evil laugh and boy, his breath stank. 'Man, you just signed your death warrant and I will do one favour on you.' No one messes with me. 'Ooooh, I am so scared that I almost peed my pants.' Again that idiotic laugh. I counted till 5 and then kicked right in his balls. I turned around and grabbed his hair from roots, jerked them so badly and then gave my hard elbow shot on his chin. Everything happened so fast for one moment he was standing and the other lying on floor wiggling. I charged at him with my cheetah speed, picked up a wooden rod and started hitting him wildly, 'You idiotic stinky breath was trying to steal my backpack. You are so dead.' 'Favour, favour, favour.' He was screaming in pain just after few seconds and was panting hard. I picked my paste from my bag and threw at him, 'Brush your teeth.' I was fuming. I turned around and saw him standing wide-eyed, 'Hi, I am Scarlett.' I smiled showing my 32 teeth. 'I am scared.' His look puzzled me. I switched it on. Should I really make a call I asked myself. It was one-thirty at night. I think I should that's what my guts were telling me. My thump was hovering over the call option. I closed my eyes when all the things that happened to me this night flashed in front of me. I realized that I should for help and touched the call option. It was ringing, after three-ring, the call was received. "Faith" That was the first word I heard from the other side. The tone of his voice was concerning and sounded worried his voice was soothing and husky, one could melt easily on it. "Help me" was all I could say to this stranger and tears were rolling down...

"How do you feel now, Morgan?" She says, more pointing something out than asking a question. She grabs hold of my wrists and tightens them. If I could see properly I could swear I see them turn purple. "I could beat you to the bone, right here, right now, till you die from your injuries. But, I won't. You will die. Maybe not today, maybe not in a month, but you will." Well, obviously I'm going to die. Humans don't live forever. "Wonder why?" "No, and I really don't care." She answers anyway. "Because we have the power, the people, and the weapons to do it. Face it, you're defenseless against us." I feel some blood flooding my mouth, so I, being a perfectly nice person, spit it in her face. That doesn't faze her at all. "I have the strength and intelligence, something you clearly don't have. Whatever y'all do to me, it won't break me. I will put up a hell of a fight before losing. I will fight, and I will win." I turn over and look at her fellow companions. "Even if I die doing it." "Is that a risk you're willing to take?" ____________________________________ 17 year old Morgan Peters is an average girl living life.
