Since my rebirth, my life has been shrouded in confusion and strangeness. Angry voices constantly echo around me, tormenting me with accusations:

"Killer!"
"Cruel, you are the most evil person on earth!"
"You don't deserve to live!"
"You'll never get what you want!"

I am haunted by my past, desperately trying to atone for my sins in search of freedom, but I have failed time and time again.

A year later, I rose to become the leader of the Elite group, hoping that with divine providence, I could finally find the peace I so desperately craved. But fate had other plans.

I encountered a person from my past, someone who claimed to know me. "I know you are a woman, Hoka," they said. "Seriously?! We've been friends since childhood. Have you forgotten?" But their words only brought more pain. "You should be dead..." they accused. "You destroyed our happy family!"

Despite the relentless accusations, I can't help but wonder if everyone has their own motives, exploiting the opportunities I provide. Love, friendship, lust, revenge... Can they truly be loyal if I give them what they desire?

My mind was screaming for help. I remembered there was still hope left or help. I dragged myself towards my pillow and moved my hand under it and took out the cell phone which Max gave me. I switched it on. Should I really make a call I asked myself. It was one-thirty at night. I think I should that's what my guts were telling me. My thump was hovering over the call option. I closed my eyes when all the things that happened to me this night flashed in front of me. I realized that I should for help and touched the call option. It was ringing, after three-ring, the call was received. "Faith" That was the first word I heard from the other side. The tone of his voice was concerning and sounded worried his voice was soothing and husky, one could melt easily on it. "Help me" was all I could say to this stranger and tears were rolling down...

"How do you feel now, Morgan?" She says, more pointing something out than asking a question. She grabs hold of my wrists and tightens them. If I could see properly I could swear I see them turn purple. "I could beat you to the bone, right here, right now, till you die from your injuries. But, I won't. You will die. Maybe not today, maybe not in a month, but you will." Well, obviously I'm going to die. Humans don't live forever. "Wonder why?" "No, and I really don't care." She answers anyway. "Because we have the power, the people, and the weapons to do it. Face it, you're defenseless against us." I feel some blood flooding my mouth, so I, being a perfectly nice person, spit it in her face. That doesn't faze her at all. "I have the strength and intelligence, something you clearly don't have. Whatever y'all do to me, it won't break me. I will put up a hell of a fight before losing. I will fight, and I will win." I turn over and look at her fellow companions. "Even if I die doing it." "Is that a risk you're willing to take?" ____________________________________ 17 year old Morgan Peters is an average girl living life. Sins and Secrets Book 1: "How do you think all your little Alpha buddies will feel," he hissed, his hot, rancid breath whispering across the back of my neck causing my stomach to sink, "When they discover the dark secret you've been hiding? Do you think they'll respect you still? Do you think that little mate of yours will still want you?" At the thought of Tiberius, my wolf went crazy. My body jerked at the restrained that held me down, the smell of burning flesh filling the room as the silver began to cut into my wrists. "Go to hell." We snapped as my whole body began to go numb. "Oh can't you see, my sweet little bird," he came closer, his lips practically pressed against the skin on my cheek, "You're already there." --------------------------------------------------------------------- My name is Cara Eldoran. I am one of two Alpha's within my pack. Two years ago, I stood frozen to the ground and watched as someone I loved killed my older brother in front of me. There were no screams or tears. My whole body had gone into shock, and I was left to watch the horrors unfold in front of me. But I will lose no one else. Alpha's are going missing. They are being taken from their homes in the middle of the night and are never seen again. Sometimes I wish that being taken was my biggest problem. That all I had to worry about was making sure my windows were locked at night and that I was safe in the arms of my mate, but there is much more at stake then most realize. I vowed revenge for my brother the day he died, and I will stop at nothing to get it. Not even the dark secrets that could destroy me will stop my lust for vengeance. ---------------------------------------------------------------------
