City Bound

Diana Mondragon was born and raised as a city girl, loved the high life, and loved all the benefits of being born with a silver spoon in her mouth. She was used to getting what she wanted, but that was all before she met a Sheriff from Down County Georgia. He was lean and built, hard working and loyal...and everything Diana had ever wanted. From the first time she saw him, he had been in the back of her mind. And being the best friend to her new sister in law made it easy to get her way around him. She pursued him to the point of humiliation, and right as she was about to give up on there being any chance, he brought her to his bed.

Jason wasn't one to play games. Being the Sheriff of Down County kept him busy, bringing back order from a scandal that had rocked the town made him even busier, and being a ranch hand on his best friend Harper's farm, well, spelled out that Jason had no time for the pleasures of life. Or women for that matter. Work was his life, and life was his work. But Harper's new sister in law was always on the back of his mind, always trying to get his attention when in town. Yes he brushed her off, turned her down and turned her around, but he couldn't resist taking her to bed at least once when there was a moment just right.

Just once.

Jason scratched an itch and made it clear that it was just an itch, but Diana wouldn't have it, she had wanted more. Heart broken she ran back home, only to be kicked out a few months later.

No one could have guessed that landing on her brothers door step in the middle of the country, 3 months later, that just an itch, turned out to be something much much more.
