Sacred - The History Of Ancient Kell

Centuries before Pantela's (aka the Lost Continent) species roamed its lands, Pantela- then called Kell- was a place of controlled chaos.

Queens ruled over strong, mighty tribes, commanding their armies to spill the blood of ancient dragons lost to the scrolls of history into the red earth. Mighty civilizations dominated the mountains and the plains, wielding animus magic and powers regarded as sacred. Priests ripped open the chests of innocent dragons, sacrificing their lives to the gods they revered above all. Tribes shattered and split into pieces, trapped in an endless rivalry to each other all because of their unmovable, unshakeable beliefs.

And beneath everything, beneath the crumbling empires and infamous tyrants, the same land remembered it all. Remembered being forged and shaped by the fires of volcanoes, remembered being reformed by power-hungry animus dragons, remembered trees and civilizations rising and falling and dying and returning to its crimson soil.
