Phil, the new guy, joins Dan's English class and they are instantly paired up together for a project to write a poem about love.

After deciding to return to Dans house after school having spent the lesson laughing the pair soon feel like they've known each other for years rather than hours even ending up on a roof stargazing. Problem is they aren't always looking at the sky.
