What if Solas never slept in Uthenera.... what if he just hid in his Glen and only came out to wander the world and help those he deemed "worthy" of his "services".... what if spirits could love as humans do.... just not while they are in the Fade....
Melava Sulevan is who people call the Gypsy Elf.... her clan was taken by slavers when she was a child many were sold some were killed and only she escaped.... from then on she was moved from clan to clan but spent most of her time out of the camps.... even though she was Dalish she wasn't very fond of the Dalish was.... their beliefs, how they treated outsiders.... when she was 4..... that is when her clan was being sold off..... she met two wolves who took care of her along her journey from one clan to the next..... they never entered the camps though.... those wolves belonged to Solas.... she named them Fen (who is all white with one blue and one green eye) and Harel (who is all black with one grey and one red eye)..... Solas watched her through their eyes as she grew into a beautiful powerful mage.... the two wolves were considered her protectors by the clans since they were always seen only with her.... her last clan is Keeper Hawen's clan.... when she was of age he asked her who's Vallaslin she wished to wear and with a serious face but teasing tone she told him "the dread wolf's".....
So she grew up the only elf without a Vallaslin till she joined the Inquisition and met Solas.... but fell in love with the spirit Cole/Compassion

The world has done Solas a disservice, demanding so much from one man who has given up everything of himself to save a world that still demands and takes, and takes and takes and takes until he is left with nothing in the end but a shell of himself and a life full of regrets. "Why?" And yet, he still questions what Ellana Lavellan so freely gives. A (slightly) slower burn version of the Solavellan reunion at the end of Veilguard. A/N: My headcanon is that Lavellan knows (somewhat, the gist of it anyway) about his memories and the things he's done. It feels too much like a bait-and-switch to me if he only reveals it all after she's joined him in the Fade prison, and that she's been misled and lied to. That doesn't sit quite right with me for a happy Solavellan ending especially since she's basically pledged her entire life to him (of course, if it's a dysfunctional Solavellan ending then that works well!)Zakończone

The words tumbled from Solas' lips, and he turned away slowly from Rook and Morrigan, away from where Ellana Lavellan stood hidden in the shadows of the doorway, watching and waiting. And then she was running to him, saying the words that she had thought of for so long but had never had the chance to articulate - until now: "Banal nadas, ar lath ma, vhenan." A/N: VEILGUARD SPOILERS AHEAD. Something quick I did up after playing Veilguard as I wanted greater resolution for some stuff. Also, fluff and glorious, explicit Solavellan smut (part 4). Dragon Age: The Surviver
Following a lot of the Dragon Age game series storyline by Bioware but with a twist... A young Dalish girl's clan is slaughtered by Tevinter mages but they take the girl as a slave and burns Lyrium into her skin. (Yes, like a certain angsty porcupine we know.) Before the girl is taken to Tevinter she over powers the mages with her new abilities and is found by a group of Templars. Not knowing what to do with the girl they take her back to the Ferelden Circle of Magi where she later on meets the Grey Warden... She's bi so she'll blush at anyone who flirts with her, like most of Dragon Age characters. Her romance won't happen until Veilguard. I originally started writing this to help get Dragon Age out of my system but it's starting to make my love for it grow stronger and I wish to share it with others. I'm open to any lore corrections. I unfortunately don't have any of the books so some of the lore may be lost to me but I'll try my best with the knowledge I've gained from the games, series and movie. I hope you dear readers enjoy it and let's keep this a positive and save space to share our passions. NO BOTS!

In the face of your light is a lovely story and if you haven't read it, I highly recommend it! Beautiful writing, and fantastic character development. I swallowed their fic whole. By My Hands
Rook and Solas battle it out and wind up locked in the Fade together. Will they kill each other or will they heal Thedas and themselves? So, I didn't really like the ending of Veilguard and thus decided to write my own. This series begins at the "bad ending" where Rook and Solas end up in the Fade together (though Rook survives this). I incorporated some of the other aspects of the "better endings" where most of the Veilguard survives, barring Davrin/Assan and Bellara. I stove to give Rook what she was desperately lacking in game, which was a solid origin story. Yes, I am aware that it's a difficult backstory and it is intended to be that way for many reasons that will reveal themselves as the series goes forward. There are definitely some adult themes here. Those who already follow my work know that I don't shy away from the dark. This is a story about lies, anger, love, obsession, redemption and insane chemistry--not all in that order. I also felt my poor Inquisitor deserved some agency and through this story, I was able to give it to her. If you are easily triggered or don't like Solas with anyone else besides the Inquisitor, this might not be the series for you. I'm just giving a fair warning here. Please note chapter one begins with good deal of in-game dialogue.
