Roary is special. Just before his mother died, she revealed to him that he has magic flowing through his veins. But that means that he is part witch and part werewolf, even though he hasn't shifted yet like all the others did at age five.

Now at age 16 he's run into a problem. Because of his magic he was able to find his mate before his eighteenth birthday. The thing is, his mate is the alpha's son and is in love with Roary's sister. Roary can see the love and adoration in his sisters eyes and decides to sacrifice his happiness for hers.

Using his powers he placed an enchantment on the both of them to make it seem as though they are mates when they turn eighteen, even though they aren't, and then ran for dear life. Fool proof right? Wrong! The enchantment wore off when his sister became ill and now he has to return to prevent his dear sister from dying.

Now Roary must face his greatest fear, his mate.
