After Jason tells Nico he's not strong, Nico leaves to train in Olympus with the Greek god of war, Ares. After a year of rough training, and days of starvation and drought, Nico comes back to his home, a new person with a new look, new friends and new enemies. When Nico's enemy Erebos (His name can be Erebos or Erebus. I'm going with Erebos), comes to Camp Half-Blood, demanding Nico to give him back what he stole, war starts. Nico feels that he can't do this without his friends from the past. Nico couldn't wait to see Percy Jackson, the man he loved. After the reunion of Nico di Angelo and Camp Half-Blood, Percy is taken by Erebos. Chaos got called to Olympus to clean up the gods' little mess. Gaia AND Kronos AND Chaos' sister Order are loose in America, and Chaos' army has been summoned to help deal with them. and guess where the army'll be staying? In CHB, of course! Aside from fighting the bad guys' army, Percy and Nico also have to deal with nosy campers *cough* Annabeth *cough* trying to look under their hoods, stalking them, and generally not minding their own business. It's complicated. Just like everything related to demigods.

Still, there are those who remain loyal to the king, but there are those who choose to remain neutral in fear for they do not wish to be punished if they choose wrong. On top of the threats of war the relations between demigods and their parents both sour and get better, depending on the god/goddesses.
