Alice Proctor's world is dictated by two vital aspects- survival and revenge. A linguist for Earth's insurgence, and the one of the last survivors of an invading imperialist force, she has dedicated her life to ridding earth of a far superior race known as the Oriehns.
When she is taken by a rogue test subject with ulterior motives in mind, Alice aids the rebel force the only way she can- accepting the alleged foreign ancestry forced upon her to gather crucial intel while aboard the Oriehn Lunar Station.
But just as Alice thinks she knows what she wants, a month living amongst the welcoming culture of the Oriehns and an impending siege on the mothership has a way of twisting her opinions.
