Alice Proctor's world is dictated by two vital aspects- survival and revenge. A linguist for Earth's insurgence, and the one of the last survivors of an invading imperialist force, she has dedicated her life to ridding earth of a far superior race known as the Oriehns.
When she is taken by a rogue test subject with ulterior motives in mind, Alice aids the rebel force the only way she can- accepting the alleged foreign ancestry forced upon her to gather crucial intel while aboard the Oriehn Lunar Station.
But just as Alice thinks she knows what she wants, a month living amongst the welcoming culture of the Oriehns and an impending siege on the mothership has a way of twisting her opinions.

When a strange creature crash lands onto his tiny island, Orion knows this is his chance to finally tame this growing curiosity once and for all. However, meeting Bessie Marvin and falling in love was far from his plans. With the world between the two of them collided, there's no way to go back how things once were. Now, they will have to navigate cultural differences from both space and ocean if they wish to stay together throughout the growing tension between the two sides. In the distant future of the 28th century, mankind had survived near extinction then made it into the wider galaxy. With almost no other sapient life in the Milky Way to stop humanity's expansion. Space was ripe for the picking. Now mankind and the enigmatic Voidrians formed the U.S.S.A. The (United Solar Systems Alliance). Before Mankind became the dominant force in the Milky Way, Earth was in shambles. Natural resources were nearly depleted, diseases were rampant and most of Earth's population was in poverty. Then by some miracle of discovery or a cruel cosmic joke, in the mid-23rd century when all humanity could do was go out into space to search for a new home, a small planet that was black as the void around it was discovered. The humans who landed on the little planet had nearly lost all hope until they stumbled upon unknown ancient ruins beneath the planet's surface where they discovered untold amounts of bizarre advanced technology. Earth and humanity were saved, and the little planet to thank for their salvation was named Umbra. Alice is a xenoarchaeologist, her passion in life has always been the study of ancient cultures, and now she has the opportunity to study the most ancient one of them all. Repopulating Uvis
Our planet had been on the way to destruction same as many others. However, we were able to turn it around but not without major irreversible genetic damage. It had been many years since a new female has been born on Uvis. We had set out and tried many other planets to find suitable breedable females. After much testing only one planet would work. Gaia or as the inhabitants called it Earth. We had been testing certain ones quietly. Working with their planet's leaders for a few years and have gotten the okay to reach out to the females of this planet. Everything was fine one day the next we kept losing power and then the announcements form the leaders and from an actual freaking alien! The offer was a good one for some, but could they be trusted? What would happen to the women who went to Uvis would they be treated well? Was it just a way to reduce the Earth's population so it was easier to take over?
