Missing women are becoming more frequent in the back woods of Kentucky.
Psychic Sasha Terran has Nationwide fame in finding missing people but it wasn't always the case. After four years of torture a little girl she was hell bent on finding has turned up dead despite Sasha's persistence that she was speaking to the girl via astral projection. Outcries of fraud followed Sasha until she went in to hiding in fear of her life.
Sasha had been living in the shadows until the news reported another missing persons case. This one Sasha couldn't get away from. This one became personal. Sasha's younger sister Neve had runaway from home believed to be with a boyfriend. But when the boyfriend turned up dead Sasha began to feel like she wasn't alone. Traveling to the astral plane she found Tristan wandering around looking for the light. And in so doing got more than just a lost soul. Tristan knew who had Neve and several other women being held captive. The only catch was Sasha had to convince Sheriff Wade Cutler that his brother was a butcher not a doctor and that he has been committing heinous acts against both the living and the dead.
