The Genie In My Tampon Box

I was on the toilet. The hem of my dress pulled up onto my lap. I'd meant to get this over a done with. There was an empty box of tampons in my left hand and the wrapped tampon in my other. The only reason I hadn't proceeded with the grotesque process was because of the oversized smurf with the most out dated get up staring down at me. She looked at the objects in my hand then towards my face and then asked me the most obvious damn question. "Are you like on your period or ......something?"
