Ayla Stone is the daughter of a businessman, or so she presumes. All her life, Ayla has had a couple of close friends, many good grades, and to top it all off, she had her father. Losing her mother was hard, but she got through it day by day.

One night, after leaving a friend's place, Ayla walks down the wrong street, ending up in a dangerous zone. Pulling out her phone to turn on the flashlight, a shadow emerges from the corner of her eyes.

"Hello?" She calls out, but no response.

"Is someone th-." The hidden figure grabs her from behind and shoves a piece of cloth on her face, making her feel nauseous.

"Shh, everything will be fine..." The person says to the now unconscious Ayla.

She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" "But you could have gotten hurt," I murmur softly, hanging my head and feeling my shoulders drop, the tension seeping from my body. "No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. "We're okay," I repeat, taking a small step closer to her. She nods with a small smile, moving her hand down from my cheek and instead placing the palm of her hand on my chest, right over my heart. I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights. Beatrice has just graduated college and returned home to help at her family business: a tattoo shop. Tattoos everywhere and piercings galore--he is the epitome of a bad boy, and his timing couldn't be any more terrible as her past threatens her future. But she can't resist him, falling fast and hard for his sculpted body, Australian accent, and touch that sends her heart racing. Michael's perfect in every way, until Bea realizes that the "experienced" ex-bad boy might not be as innocent as he says. * MATURE AUDIENCE WARNING * 😏😉 5SOS ALTERNATE UNIVERSE WHERE BOYS ARENT FAMOUS AND MICHAEL IS A BADASS. Preview: He turned back to face me directly and I wondered if his heart was beating as fast as mine. His green eyes were bright as he leaned closer to me. I closed the space between us until our lips met and shut my eyes. I was suddenly aware that I probably tasted like Chinese food but he didn't seem to mind as his hand slipped into my hair and he deepened the kiss. My heart was racing as I placed my hands on his chest, slowly sliding them toward his back. Am I doing this right? His body shifted and he grabbed my hips, nudging me to lay down.
