Well this story is the opposite of what happened in all those werewolf stories.
Rachel is a wolf living in a strict pack.
When she leads the pack the wrong way when hunters attack the elders cast a spell on her to turn her into a human for a year.
She learns to love the human life and asks the elders if she can stay in human form for the rest of her life and live with her best friends.
