Vertwater Vow

Vertwater, a small town, overshadowed by the big cities that surrounds it. It's just a patch of thin woods. A river running through it. A homely school and town, boring, right? That's what the citizens there want you to believe. Everyone there has extraordinary powers; some minor, some major, but nonetheless amazing. At the age of 8, every child has to take a vow to never reveal their powers to the outside; and they must never leave. When one girl, Brooke, contacts a city boy from the outside, those of Vertwater must fight to keep their secret hidden; or their tiny sanctuary will be destroyed, along with their powers, and their memories.
