Halloween approaches nearly three thousand years after the war began. 

I tremble, my heartbeat racing as images of a bloodied land flash in my mind. My fists are clenched as I stare at the ground, standing by my team.

Three minutes to go.

My palms are wet with perspiration as I quiver on the spot, unable to look him in the eye. I convince myself that I am on the right side, that this is the side I should support. But is it? "He is the enemy."

Two minutes to go.

Last minute preparations are made. Guns are checked, ammo is loaded and swords rubbed until they sparkle. Will this end like last time? "Don't look into his eyes."

One minute to go.

Everyone on both sides faces the clock in the middle of the courtyard. A gentle wind rustles the nearby trees as I tilt my head up to look at the clock too, accidentally making eye contact. Leaves calmly float to the ground, unaware that they will be coated with blood soon. "Focus on the task, not him."

Midnight. The time has come.

Kelvin was so frightened that he couldn't help a scream escaping his mouth and that's how the beast noticed him. The run was long and torturous for Kelvin, for reasons he can't tell his body was heavy and difficult to move and the creature was getting closer with each passing seconds. They continued racing racing until Kelvin lost it, he halted to catch his breath but then he saw the same creature in his front with an evil smirk on its face showing his big fangs, his elongated nails were dripping with blood. " No matter how long you run, you can't run away from me. It's your destiny that I shall destroy you and then there will be no more prophecy! The beast continued with a smirk as he comes closer bit by bit. The moment Kelvin tried to run again it stretched his hand and grabbed his shoulder pinching him with the sharp nails... The infection spread and mutated till the Earth was overrun by different kinds of hungry human - eating zombies. Vampires aren't the only supernatural creatures. Most of the others have gone into hiding, trying to wait it out. Werewolves, however, are the mortal enemies of vampires. They have formed a guard that protects humans day and night.
