Bullied, beaten, bruised, and battered from the constant abuse of her father and her peers. An absentee mother, who left her and her father when she was nothing but a young girl.

Things were so bad, in fact, that painting in the solitary haven that was her room happened to be her only way to deal with her miseries. Locked in her room for hours at a time, wishing everything would just go away, wishing she could have a better life.
That her prince charming would one day come and sweep her off her feet, taking her away from the horror that was her bitter reality.
