17 year old David Walter comes from a very rich family, so he lives a "generous life". At least, that's what his parents say. Once his father steps down, he will own Walter Enterprises, his family's company. But all David wants is a normal 17 year old life. Leslie Carver, on the other hand, lives mostly by herself, her mother working day in and day out to support the both of them, since her father left them 5 months ago. These unlikely people meet in the place they both have in common: photography class. The two meet and David instantly falls for Leslie, but he has a girlfriend. Then an offer comes up: David drops out of school to work at the headquarters of Walter Enterprises, but in return gives David and the school half a million dollars each. Between this new offer, school, Hannah, and Leslie, David realizes the decision is not as easy as he thinks.
