Far away from our planet Earth is planet Mobius, a world very similar to ours, except population entirely by anthropomorphic animals. Both worlds existed and were unaware of the other's existence. That is, until the year 2091, where is discovered by an evil human scientist named Doctor Ivo Robotnik. His only intentions with the planet are to dominate it and, because he was obsessed with robots, turn it into a mechanical weapon so he can dominate our own world. Who can stop him, you ask? Didn't you read the title?

Some incident has occurred...the world will never remain the same again. The badniks, the eggforces, the enemies that Sonic and his friends, practically everyone was fighting against from the very beginning, had suddenly took no orders from Eggman, probably because none of his machines even remembers him. With no one to command the machines, the machines all wander around and are forced to adapt to the environment and into the societies that feared and despised them. As this happens, some form of disease breaks out as these strange light cyan pollen like things starts to infest the whole Mobius, making any of the living organisms LITERALLY melt. The ones who are not affected by it are of course, the ones who can regenerate and the /machines/. A society where they are forced to work with the eggforces, or what they used to be to survive through an already melting world...like as if that's possible, right? Disclaimer: Since I am a new writer and new to the Sonic fandom still, I may write some of the characters inaccurately. I will try my best to put as much research into the characters as possible to aim for character accuracy. Due to that reason, do expect some slow updates as I want to give more care of this story as I do with the rest of mine. No ships or any sort of romance would be featured or added here due to me, myself as the writer is not comfortable writing that sort of topic. And of course, none of these characters (due to being an AU) rightfully belong to me, they belong to SEGA. These characters are just going to be altered versions of the originals.
