The virtues did seem to cancel out sin,
Yet still pray that Hell or Heaven let you in!
Lust, Pride, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, Gluttony, and Greed are demons that are known as sins. They've been sent from Hell after getting on the bad side of Lucifer. They were told that they would have to put up with they worked their whole life to corrupt. The demon's split up into groups. Some becoming roommates with each other, others fleeing solo. They went unnoticed by Heaven for a while...
When an angel sentry found one of the sins, they decided to send down the most powerful angels they had to stop their demonic influence. The virtues. Chastity, Abstinence, Liberality, Diligence, Patience, Kindness, Humility were sent down to cancel them out. Each virtue paired with a sin. The demon's couldn't be sent back, so the virtues and sins were sentenced to an annoying fate.
