While Adlet and Jenna intend on doing this by the books, their unsavory past with two of String's captains may muddy their judgement, or, more accurately, it already has. As String's ambitions grow beyond just controlling the city's underbelly Adlet and Jenna are forced to take action with an ally he did not desire. While prejudice against E.H.s reaches it's peak because of a horrific tragedy, the Soldiers of the New World waste no time to expand their reach and rally for their cause of taking over the city. Adlet goes to the edge of sacrificing everything and back again. On the way, betrayal awaits at every corner. In helping Nate pursue his kidnapped daughter, Charlotte inadvertently allows herself to feel again, to care for those other than herself. But the first step, going outside. Is it truely toxic out there ? They're about to find out.

No matter how much she wants to forget her past she can't because she does not want to forget the first boy she ever loved who was also a testing experiment with her who she called "Yo-kun " She's haven't seen him in 7 years and wonders if he's even alive or if she will ever see him again. A new kid arrives at school and all the kids fear him as he looks like he can be the son of Satan. Maddie is curious about the boy who looks fearsome to everyone and with cold aura around him and she realizes its her first love " Yo-kun"!

As a result each twin got only half of the traits they were originally supposed to get. Skylar got the strength and speed while Jake got the brains. When they realized what had happened, the twins' parents immediately put them up for adoption, so neither one knew of the other. 12 years later Skylar is constantly failing all her classes, and Jake is getting bullied because he is so much weaker than other kids. But then Skylar's adoptive family decides to move across the country to find a new school for their daughter, which happens to be the school Jake goes to. They meet completely by accident. In the meantime, their parents have found a way to fix their mistake from 12 years ago -- they can make one of the twins perfect. But it requires for the other twin to give their life.
