MY name is September June March. Yes I know wickedly funny parents. I have heard all the calendar jokes and month jokes that could be made. For anyone who cared to know me, they called me Ember. I’m a music teacher, yes I know boring, but it does have its rewards. I’m a musical prodigy, perfect pitch, can replay any song I hear and there is no instrument I can’t play. That does come in as a wicked talent for being a music teacher. I have tried my best in my 25 years not to stand out, but it has been hard. I forgot I also write music, that’s really important to the story. The only downside to my life is wicked headaches that come on without warning.

The first time I walked into a bank I had a cold and I sneezed, I mumbled something about slobber coming from my mouth but a person near misheard and thought that I said robber and everyone went into freak out mode. In the third grade I walked in on my teacher and the principal, she gave me A’s for the rest of the year despite my reluctance. She wouldn’t believe me when I said that I would forget anything ever happened – and believe me I wanted to forget it. My whole life has been a mix of bad luck, misfortune and lots and lots of awkward moments. And by the looks of things, my lifestyle wasn’t about to change. Once again I’d stumbled my way into something; little did I know just how big this seemingly small occurrence would turn out to be.
