I Was Never Unloved - Gaara x Reader - Oneshot

Gaara of the Desert, the Jinchuuriki of the One Tails, Shukaku, and a boy who grew up believing he was alone and would be for the remainder of his life. Many feared him, his siblings, his fellow villagers, even ninja from other nations and hidden villages. His father loathed him, trying again and again to take his sons life and spreading the lie that his mother never loved him. Gaara was fueled with hate, rage and revenge was his sole reason for living. However, despite his clouded eyes and venomous spite, he changed, and for the better.

Naruto Uzumaki, the one person who was able to share Gaara's pain of being labeled as a Jinchuuriki, pulled him out of the darkness. His eyes were opened and because of him, he made a dream, a new goal for himself. He would becoming the Kazekage, and earn the respect and acceptance of his people one day. However, that wasn't the only thing Naruto allowed his narrow field of vision to notice, he finally noticed the person beside him.

Now, she was the only thing he wanted.
