I didn't want all this to happen.

I was just an ordinary 14 year old girl, living in an ordinary town, attending a normal middle school. I had a mom, a dad, and a sister. Just an ordinary family. It's been that way for a long time, and it seemed like it would continue that way.

Then it all changed because of a dare.

When my twin sister, Bri, dared me to climb Mount Ebott, I thought nothing of it. Just another dare. Legends day that anyone who climbs the mountain, never return. Honestly, I didn't believe it. Nor did I believe that monsters lived under the mountain. Little did I know, by accepting the dare, my life was about to be turned upside down.

But honestly, I wouldn't have had it any other way.

(Adult Lazarus here - I wrote this when I was like 14 years old. Forgive me.) Sometimes life gets to the point where you feel like you're a paper airplane. One minute you're soaring, feeling as if nothing could ever get you down. But then the next thing you know, you're falling slowly and nothing that you can do can possibly help you. You end up falling and crashing into whatever's below you and the heights that you had once reached. Then it starts all over again - becoming a vicious cycle. Someone picks you back up and throws you, making you soar yet again. But then they watch as you fall, not stopping you or saving you from the hard impact you meet with the ground. The process repeats itself over and over and there's no way you can stop it. After all, you're made of paper - you're delicate, fragile. You're thrown, you soar, you fall, you're picked back up, then it happens all over again until you break - becoming bent and broken from your head to your toes. Until you crash so much that you're ruined - then you're thrown away. At those times, you know that you at least have one person who will fix you. He calls you his queen, as any king would whilst in power of the empire you both strive to build together. This person is your home - your empire. - #6 in Quotes [03.12.21] - #2 in Sans [10.21.21] - Undertale does not belong to me. - Artwork/Music does not belong to me. - Also, I apologize for any of the spelling errors. I type quickly and so I do not really realize if I misspell a word or two. Sometimes I do go back and edit out the mistakes with spelling and such.

EDIT: READER AND PAPYRUS ARE BOTH IN THEIR TEENS!! WARNING: BOOK CONTAINS SWEARING/CUSSING AND VIOLENCE Just before she passed away, my grandmother told me about the monsters who lived under Mount Ebott. My mother hated everyone. My father died in the war of the monsters. My grandmother decided to whisper to me: "Promise me, You will find, A better family. One who will love you, No matter their duties. I will love you too, I will be watching you. No matter your choice, Let me hear your happy voice." So that's what I did. Her words went through my head as I climbed the mountain, hoping that a monster could help me. - "Sans flinched as the shouting downstairs grew louder. The ropes around my wrist seemed to grow tighter as I struggled, hoping to break free from the monster stomping up the stairs angrily. As Sans stepped back, his door was smashed open. I took one long look at the figure standing there and instantly knew: this is why I am here." - (SLOW STORY! MANY SLOW CHAPTERS BECAUSE OF DETAILS)(COVER ART NOT BY ME!)
