She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw those eyes.
Those damned eyes she kept seeing in all of her nightmares.
It's heavy breathing, and bloodstained body was all you could see or hear of the monster.

"It... It's not what you think. You're eyes deceive you in the dark."

He sounded crazy. Like a liar.

...

He was lying.

"Fucking bullshit, you murdered her in cold fucking blood! I thought we could trust you... I... I though I could trust you."
Hot tears pricked the corners of her eyes. The monster started getting closer to her, and she only backed away towards the front door of the house.
"You're a monster. I don't know why I ever trusted you."
