Her Father, who once used to be her idol ,is constantly blind drunk, re-married, and together, him and her drug taking step mother Susan, beat Bonnie black and blue, causing her to self harm. It finally hits bonnie that if she doesn't get out out of that house, either she could end up taking her life, or her father and Susan could.

Bonnie plans to runaway, to her Auntie Carol's, whom she hasn't seen since her mother died, because her father cut of all contact from the rest of her family, as her Auntie wanted to adopt her when her mother died.saying she only needed him. Bonnie has a load of money, and a good plan, she is just praying her Auntie wont reject her.
