It is 1914, and Henry Anderson is watching the world descend into war. Like many young men at the time, he is fascinated by the idea of warfare and glory. Henry enlists in the military against his parents' wishes and throws himself into the life of a British soldier in Flanders. But it is far from what he expects: Henry's fantasies of righteous battle fade into the grim reality of gruesome death and shell-shock. He and his fellow soldier Jacob must help each other survive the cruel trenches, but it is no longer certain that either of them will return to England alive. Told in journal entries and letters from Henry's sister Elizabeth, this reveals the realities and horrors of World War I, on the battlefield and in the homefront. I wrote this for a history project while studying WWI and got way too involved in it, so here you are. WARNINGS: gun/bomb/gas-related violence, war descriptions, graphic death, suicide attempt. I will mark specific chapters with warnings and give summaries of those chapters on the following one. A group of friends deal with life in the trenches along the Western front. Young German soldiers sent to fight a war they were told would be over by Christmas, soon realize that they aren't going anywhere. I did as best research as I could at the time, I'm sure it is not 100% accurate. This was written several months ago based on a story I wrote in middle school. I decided to I wanted to post this somewhere just in case someone else found it, maybe I can get some feedback. A Girl Like Grace
I laid there helpless... Just like that my mouth opened and I started sobbing, as the paramedics dragged my mother out. She wasn't moving whatsoever, but her eyes were wide open. She laid there a few feet away from me and I swear to god I could still see the fear lingering in her eyes. THE AFTERMATH
it's been 2 years since the battle of dunkirk. tommy is still traumatized by the terrors of being a soldier in that horrible time. he fears he will never get over the trauma he experienced. will somebody come along the way to dull his pain or will they leave him helpless? ~~~~ warning: this story may move a bit too fast for your liking, but i'm planning on making the story short, about 30 chapters. enjoy the book. i also wrote this book at 14, so i apologize in advance if anything in the book seems grammatically/logically incorrect. - got in #1 ranking for the fionnwhitehead tag.Complete

My darkest novel yet... "The clock ticks, time stops. And then..." This novel takes a deep dive into what the world would have been like if the (now switched) sides of the Great War-Germany, the Ottoman Empire, Bulgaria, and Austria-Hungary-had fought the now central powers such as the United States, Great Britain, Imperial Russia, France, Italy, and Japan. As the battles hit hard and heavy, major casualties were reported in mass amounts, disease ran rampant across the trench country, and psychological and biological warfare was implemented. Adieu. UPDATE #01/1/2025: Published new chapters, book is complete yet chapters are to be published periodically. Chapter 4-5 needs revision still.
