The War has long since been over; the Vampires are gone, and the Lycans following close behind. Or so we thought. In the small town of Llyne, it would seem everyone has forgotten about the War and what it created. And they have, at least on the surface. The night, however, holds dangers more frightening than the dark. Townspeople are disappearing left and right, only to be found the next morning as little more than a pile of bloody bones, and it is only when a wandering Handler drifts through town that the source is found... a Lycan. Orsolya Bíró has been hunting what is left of the Lycans for as long as she can remember, and she has not come away unscathed. Still, she has managed to hold onto an ideology different than most of her peers; the Lycans deserve not death, but a chance to live, just as any creature. But when this idea comes back to bite her-literally-she is forced to make a choice: Can she take responsibility for a creature that most would kill on sight, or can she go against the beliefs she has managed to cling to for more than a decade?
