Gifted or utterly Cursed?

Lilly is a girl who was practically raised by Death himself. Her father was a loyal Reaper and close friend to Death and her mother was a fallen Angel, sadly they died but not even Death could, or would, bring them back. After that Death had raised the child like his own but even he had to admit that there was something odd about her something special. She was half pure blood reaper and half Angel and was given the powers that both possessed. She had known the whole time and thought of Death to be like her own father in a way, but to make sure that she would stay a fallen Angel and Reaper Death sent her to live a messed up life. By the age of 1500 she had already been put into more wicked foster homes then she cared to admit and she now was entering the worst. The parents were thoughtless animals, the mother was gone most of the time doing who knew what who knew where and the father was a
heavy drinker with a bad temper and a habit for gambling.
Often both would use her " gifts" to their own advantage, she
can read minds,see glimpses of the future and the past, control fire at will,she can see how and when people will die, see and speak to the dead ,etc, and she had a pair of large black wings that struck fear into any mortal. But one day a new boy enrolled in her school but there is something...different about him. She cant use any of her powers on him no matter how hard she tried it just would not work. Could this one boy be different could he be like....her?
