Looks like its' my turn to write the report. So, How does Mike start these things... Oh yeah, my name is Keith Kane. Not too long ago, I use to work with the police as the lieutenant for homicide. However, things didn't end in my favor. So I fell back into our little detective group called "Spyglass". Everything was fine until one day, my retired captain asked to meet with me. He wanted to reminiscence over tales from our glory days. As well as dredge up the memories of my late father. We soon turned our discussion to a case file he had been working on up to his retirement. Soon, a loud gunshot echoed through the streets and a swirl of flames engulfed the place we were meeting . I was tailing a shadowy figure, who had fled the scene, through the city's dark and narrow alley ways. Only, to lose him, as the fiend climbed onto the rooftops high above. The words they spoke that day would soon unravel the very world I held onto so dear. Who would have throught that it wasn't just mere shadows under the bleak cityscape skylines. "You shouldn't listen to your comrade, Kennith Kane..." said the figure, gesturing to the cityscape around him, "Some things are best left in the shadows! Ha Ha Ha!" Author Note: There are two Chapters 38. They are different endings for the book. It is the readers choice for what ending you like better cause it will change how the ending feels. Without the rich. A night at the pandemonium leads Her into a world of demons and shadowhunters. Not to mention these shadowhunter she meets "kidnap"her, along with her "friends".
