After a training session gone wrong, Lance is injected with a poison which threatens to take away his memory after a week. The only way to get him back would be for someone to help him remember his life, or he'll be gone forever... Secrets are spilled, feelings are shared, and love is near. after Lance moves from his home country of Cuba all the way across the world to Australia he must navigate the huge cultural and even language changes that face him, on top of that? his questioning his sexuality. doesn't make it any easier when the new guy is cute and looking his way, how will he handle these changes and find out who he is? meanwhile keith just wants to get through his last few years of college and be out of this town, even though his only just gotten there. that was until a certain guy caught his eye, well that is until chaos ensues. who will make a move first?

He couldn't believe Lance had just said that -he pondered on the possibility of having misheard him- but his voice had sounded so honest and so painfully hurt, he knew there was no way Lance's words weren't true. The honesty dripping from his drunk-stained words left Keith breathless. He never thought he'd live to hear those words coming from Lance, he was certain he would never love him back, he thought he liked Kinkade, as much as it pissed him off the idea. But Lance was sitting next to him, in a desolated hallway in the middle of the night, as if they were just idle teenagers, his big ocean eyes looking at him with fear and so much pain, and he felt like the world had just stopped for them.

None of the other paladins noticed, and now he was the only one who could save lance. "Okay," Lance murmured, shifting to get more comfortable against Keith. Lance stared out at the horizon. "Everything's so beautiful out here." "It is," Keith agreed, his voice quieter now. (What if Lance had frozen and couldn't ask Allura out on a date in Season 8, Episode 1? Instead, Lance realizes his feelings for Keith and asks him out on a date. This is my take on fixing Voltron and writing what I believe should have happened.)
