When the Killing Joke incident happened Bruce was of course feeling remorseful and great pain for the Gordon Family as it reminded him of his very own trauma, but he handled it very differently this time around and learned to use that raging pain to fuel him positively. All that is thanks to Harley who taught Bruce to love again and made him a better man in the process. But now a new incident is about to arise as their strength and morals will be greatly tested once again as the respected Bat Family. When the Joker causes chaos and gets caught as always he is then sent over to the Asylum where their worst nightmare will eventually manifest when the Joker gets loose and takes over the Madhouse by releasing all the infamous supervillains of Gotham. There's a lot more character building moments now. Riddler was actually a really fun inclusion and his presence and actions made the finale infinitely more exciting. Robin was pretty damn good and scarecrow was cool and fun and creepy yet understandable. Overall 100% your best DCSV fic and maybe your best fic overall.
