Charlotte "Charlie" Neal is a Five who, unlike the Prince, has worked every day of her life.
At first she signs the paperwork to join his Selection to appease her mother, but her reasons change as she becomes one of the Selected.
She'll navigate the troubled times, mean girls, a cheerful older sister, new friends, awesome food, a strict ettiquette teacher, the threat of war, double-crossers, flirtacious Kings, cute guards, her sassy best friend, and the Prince in her time in the Selection.
Oh yeah.
And don't forget the wolves.

(An I'll Wait For You Fanfiction)
(Also a Selection Fanfiction)
The characters are mine, but most of the storyline belongs to Kiera Cass!
(The characters are from another story of mine and I though it would be interesting to see Peter get his Selection :D)

"I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. It will take being forced to work with her fellow juniors on a project, a boy next door with a infectious smile, a star gazer with an adorable puppy, and an unlikely pair of fangirls to make her see how truly wrong she was about everything. "IT'S NOT CLICHÉ!!!" - Moria987 "This is the reason y I keep coming back to this book...It's simply a breathtaking journey" - mariyamsajorawala "I don't usually comment but this is one of the best books I've read here. I love the fact that it's realistic and focuses on things that really hinder human interaction, perceptions and stereotypes." - yurfavegal "just gets better and better. How are all your characters 3D! Like this writing is so beautiful" - CrazyStarChick "Reading it for the second time, and the book still brings a smile to my face 😆" - grumpymood "She's practically Carter's twin 😂😂" - Guardian_21 #1 Breakingcliches #1 Arrogant #6 in Teen Romance
The Emerald Six: Cassandra Hawthorne by JemmaRyder
19 parts Complete
I wrote this originally as a satire fic about a redneck girl in a Hogwarts setting. It grew into a deeper story and now I have five books that I decided to share. The story becomes darker as Cassandra gets older. Synopsis: Cassandra Hawthorne is your typical Southern belle-charming, determined, and fiercely proud of being an American. After a tragic event shakes her family to its core, she decides to join the foreign exchange program, leaving behind her familiar life. She's sent to Hogwarts, where she's sorted into Slytherin and begins a new chapter in a world filled with magic, mystery, and rivalries. At Hogwarts, Cassandra meets a cast of intriguing characters, including Draco Malfoy, Pansy Parkinson, Theodore Nott, Blaise Zabini, and a mysterious Geordie boy named Oliver Forster. She also finds herself under the guidance of a secretive mentor whose intentions remain unclear. As she struggles to adapt to her new life, Cassandra must confront her past-both the tragedy that led her here and the troubling secrets that threaten to follow her. She also realizes her upbringing in the South might be more of a hindrance than a help as she navigates the treacherous waters of Slytherin house. Will the weight of her family's demands set her on a dangerous path, or will she find a way to escape it before it consumes her? Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter (duh!) or any other name brands that may be mentioned throughout my story. ;) My original characters, Cassandra Violet Hawthorne and Oliver Ambrose Forster are mine.

"Listen I know we've been flirting and shit but that doesn't mean I like you, okay" I cross my arms again and slightly smirk. He smirks down at me and he opens his beautiful mouth. "If that's true, then why did I hear you using the dildo while moaning my name?" Son of a bitch. ____________________________________ Being friends with your neighbor isn't that bad. Need milk? He's got it. Need sugar? She's got it. Ever since she moved into the apartment next door to him, they got close and eventually became close friends. But what happens when four years of friendship starts to turn into something more. Do they want this or do they ignore it? Penelope Jones is a tough woman. She's always on top of things and is always working to improve on her cafe, to make it thrive. She has no time for silly things like relationships, hookups, vacations, especially after everything she has been through. And she's perfectly happy with her life right now, right? Grayson Miller is a caring and funny guy. He's always checking on Penelope, either in her apartment or cafe. But he rarely talks to the tenants in his apartment floor, the only exception is the girl he's had his eyes on. But he conceals his feelings, knowing she has no intentions of dating and knowing she will never reciprocate his feelings, right? This time, I can't help but flinch as he touches me and pulls the other strap down .. baring my other shoulder to his eyes. "Anthony .. you can't say those things. We .. we're supposed to be best friends." As I try to reason with him, he begins to kiss my shoulder .. making the words come out so much more weaker than intended. Anthony stays quiet after what I say, or rather he ignores me, instead using his other hand to play with the skin on my stomach exposed from the top. "I know .." He trails off. I hold my breath, anxious as I wait to hear what he's going to say next. "But I genuinely don't know if that's enough for me anymore .." Anthony moves my hair to side, and the words he speaks are paired with a slow kiss to the nape of my neck. Beatrix thought she'd never trust another guy again. Her last relationship had changed her, in so many ways that she hated. The experience had been unbelievable and both unbearable. After doing the first two years of college online, she transfers to a private university with just one wish: Normalcy. The plan was simple .. just keep her head down, study her ass off, try to become a functional person once again and hopefully make one friend or two. Everything was supposed to start over that year, a fresh start for her. She'd had high hopes and was faithfully prepared to blend in to the background. And it does go well. Until she sits down in Spanish, where she meets Anthony Gamaro. Beatrix finds herself in an odd friendship with the 21 year old football player. One that's strangely wholesome and slowly helps her begin to open up a bit. Not just to him but new friends, opportunities and the college experience of course, filled with studying, stress, partying, fun and some drama.

"The moon's really beautiful, if you think about it," I blurted. "Yeah?" he asked, mild amusement and curiosity mingling in his voice. "Yeah," I confirmed. "It's just- there's something about the moon that's ethereal. I don't really know how to describe it, but it's a constant in life. You can't always see it, but you have to trust that it's out there somewhere. And when you can see it, it's all bright and shiny and overcomes the darkness." I paused, searching for the right words. "I don't know. I guess it's a reminder that there are good things out there, even if you can't see them... And it's cool to think that someone hundreds of miles away is staring at the exact same moon as you. It makes me feel not so alone in life." Turning my head, I saw him staring at me intently with a thoughtful look on his face. "Too deep for a Friday night?" I laughed nervously, feeling my face grow hot. And this was precisely why I didn't go to parties. He shook his head and seemed to snap out of his daze. "It was deep in a good way." *** SHE was quiet & left out. Part of a friend group because of convenience. Dealing with fighting parents at home. Looking for more in life. Always wanting to get away from Chicago & start over. Her parents' divorce gave her the perfect opportunity. Ending up in Haven Beach, she rekindled relationships with estranged relatives & got the teenage experience she had always dreamed of. Midnight drives. Bonfires at the beach. Adventures every day. Friends who actually cared. Because of Haven Beach, she found herself. HE was a focused athlete- Haven Beach's golden boy. 55 parts Complete Mature

I wasn't going to put this here, but fuck it; I'm trying to pad this account. The rest of my fanfics are on the two you-know-who sites. Anyway; picture a more teenage life of The Peanuts Gang unfold in Sparkyville, Minneapolis... where ever the alleged fictional Minissota city, everybody has their permits, paired up, angsted up, and off all prospective suiters; Charlie Brown to fall in love with? Some might expect, while others may be taken a back, much like his friends. Longer than intended, but here it is...
