Prologue: 
I looked beyond the Hawaiian blue, mysterious ocean water.  The sun was setting and its reflection glistened on the surface of the body of water.  I slipped my pink painted toenails and foot into the water; it gave me chills.  I just couldn't do it.  I couldn't do that to my father.  I turned towards the beach house, and I picked up my plaid beach bag and my starfish necklace that lay in the sand.  A splash rung in my ear drums; I turned around.  There he was.
