Prologue: 
I looked beyond the Hawaiian blue, mysterious ocean water.  The sun was setting and its reflection glistened on the surface of the body of water.  I slipped my pink painted toenails and foot into the water; it gave me chills.  I just couldn't do it.  I couldn't do that to my father.  I turned towards the beach house, and I picked up my plaid beach bag and my starfish necklace that lay in the sand.  A splash rung in my ear drums; I turned around.  There he was. Although, he doesn't entirely remember it, and neither does Nico di Angelo-the annoying know-it-all who always seemed to be more focused on studying than partying. In fact, he didn't even want to go to the party, he was dragged to the place by his step-sister, and he's never been more annoyed by a jock than he has with Will. Plus, he's in love with the hopelessly beautiful Percy Jackson. The two would definitely prefer to go their separate ways-except for the fact that they both ended up at the same summer internship fighting for the same position. This was gonna be one hell of a summer.
