Doncaster Private High (better known as DPH) is not your usual high school. Everyone there has some kind of power, something that no one else can do.

There are rules at a place like this, obviously. First of all, you are not allowed to show your powers to outsiders, who will willingly kill you if they find out. Second of all, no contact with outsiders, unless absolutely necessary. Finally, third of all, never, ever, can you use your powers for evil.

Zayn Malik goes to DPH. He's in his last year, and he has the ability to produce smoke out of the palms of his hand. It's not the greatest ability, and he gets teased and bullied regularly because of it.

Louis Tomlinson is rather popular in the school, however. And that's because he can produce fire out of thin air. He's the loved one, the popular one of the school. Everyone wishes they were him.

When a threat arises from inside the school, a threat that gives way to a darker time, Louis and Zayn, two boys who have barely said one word to each other, are put together as a team to help.

Will they be able to work together, and help save the school, or will they not be able to put aside their differences, and have it where the school falls to Fire & Smoke.
