****i wrote this when i was 14 so the writing sucks but you get the idea across****
"Yes yes, but remember Mr. Whisp, traveling around the world is one thing but to travel through time is different from what any other wizard or witch has done before." Dippet said looking over at Kennilworthy.
"But how did you-"
"Well, Mr. Whisp, you shall be off, a graduation to attend, a new life to began. I wish you all luck Mr. Whisp." Dippet said winking.
"Right sir." Kennilworthy said turning around leaving the office.

1947, the day of Kennilworthy Whisp's Hogwarts graduation. He's been working on his time-traveling snitch for years and now it is finally time to try it for the first time. He travels throughout the years to different countries to learn about quidditch, however, he runs into a few problems meeting new people along the way. Kennilworthy's travels turns into adventure eventually leading to the publish of his book in 1952, Quidditch Through the Ages.

A/N: So some time ago I read a story here called Slyther My Way Into Your Heart which was about a Slytherin OC romancing Hermione and it was a really interesting story since everybody writes about Gryffindor everytime and that just got boring and stale overtime, and this story really changed it up to show how a Slytherin interacting with a Gryffindor and dating one would be. alas, the author took the story down and I could never find it again so it inspired me to write my own Slytherin OC X Hermione.
