Aliens arrive. Every life on the planet is drastically changed over the next few years. 

Hannah, an English school girl is amoung the first to be taken. She doesn't understant what's happening, but she will find out.

Marcus, a New Yorker whose parents are divorced and his mother busy at work often, he sees the abductions as they happen, and when they stop he's left on a planet with no infrastructure and the only law is a loaded gun.

Jenny, a girl recently diagnosed with cancer, she barely notices anything beyond her own life, she doesn't even see it coming until the take her. Suddenly the cancer is the least of her problems, it almost becomes a positive in comparison. 

Lily. What to say about Lily. A girl that doesn't think twice about leaving her father behind, and is closer to her girlfriends family. Meek and mild, she lets everything take over, but her girlfriend is less accepting.

Straight A* student, the class representative, model student and the best of the gym team. But she's got one weakness. And his name is Beck Jackson. Sweetest guy in school, most popular guy in school, head of the run and swim team, nice to everybody, A* student: they've been friends fro such a long time, but when it gets out that Hope is in love with Beck, he becomes so stubborn and oblivious. Hope can't contain herself then, and does so many reckless things; she might end up getting hurt- and on the wrong side of some people. He reared back but not enough to separate us. His hand flashing to my arm to still us and then he froze. I thought for a second, based on his lack of response, I had picked the wrong time. Or maybe he had changed his mind from two days ago. I went to pull away, flushing lightly with embarrassment. I didn't get to disconnect our lips before he unfroze and reacted. His grip tightened, his other one going to my hair to hold my head in place as he kissed me back with more intent than I even had started with. My body flushed for a different reason now.
