Chase dropped the knife on the floor, looking up slowly.
"Come here baby girl."
She rushed over, engulfing him in a warm embrace.
"You promise you won't Chasey?"
He placed his palms on each side of her pale face.
"No." In one quick movement he snapped her neck and let her fall to the floor.
"What did you do....?"
He now noticed the figure standing in the doorway.
