"It's good to have you back Ms. Daniel." The doctor said while gazing sheepishly at the gorgeous young woman laying down beside him.
"Please, call me Lilly." She croaked while attempting to sit up straight.
"Do you know what happened to me." She whispered hoarsely feeling a searing pain in her head.
"W-well Ms. Daniel, there's no other way to put it...you were involved in a hit and run, luckly you made it out safe. Well s-safe as can be if you count dying twice and having only 30 days of your life to live." The doctor stuttered while gazing at the woman in a daze.
"30 d-days? What do you mean only 30 days to live?!" She screamed at the doctor in horror.
"Exactly as I said, Ms. Daniel you have 30 days to live so if I were you I would spend it wisely." He said while heading for the door as his beeper went off indicating he was needed in another surgery.
"Well time to save more live then, keep safe Ms Daniels." He winked shutting the door.

"I starved myself but I never died. I have no idea how I survived that long without food. The floors I slept on where of moldy brick and sometimes a rat would curl up to my neck. I stopped caring. "The fuck you are leaving me." His roar cracked through the hall like lightning. Ara didn't blink. She stood there, calm as death, done to her core. No tears. No tremble. "Your mistakes come in episodes, Alpha. Season one, season two, season three. You don't make mistakes. You make choices." He swallowed hard. "I don't need her. I need you." "Lies," she spat. "Every damn sentence you breathe is a lie. I can't even look at you without feeling sick." He flinched like her words physically hit him. "That female behind you?" she pointed, not bothering to glance. "Perfect for you. Go mark her. Breed her. Hell, fuck her for all I care." Her voice cracked - but she kept going, blade steady even when bleeding. "I don't need you. Not anymore." His knees crashed to the floor. The mighty Alpha. On the ground. For her. "Ara... I'm sorry. I'm really fucking sorry." His voice broke like he finally understood what loss tasted like. She stared at him with a sad, devastating smile. "Isn't it too late for that, Mate?" "Kill..." the low whispering voice trailed off into my head. I don't think the strange whispering voice came from anyone in the room. It was too loud; too abnormel; too deadly.
