He was after me in a heartbeat of course - but even restricted like this I was faster than he was. I was into the woods before he'd even had a prayer of catching up.

I thought of phasing but lacked the control with my emotions dominating me so completely.

I settled for two legs as Jacob was calling out to me, asking me to wait. I pushed harder. He fell further behind, still trying to get me to stop. When I did it was a harsh thing, abrupt, causing me almost to skid against the damp forest floor.

I'd reached the end of the line. The edge of the cliff side. An aggressive ocean pushed against the bottom of the rocky shore.
I calculated the jump; it wouldn't kill me but I'd have definitely been asking for it.

Jacob cursed, "God dammit Trinity don't you dare jump. I meant it when I said until death do us part. Do us - and I will follow your crazy ass over."

"Who are you, huh?! A best friend?! Or what?!" Her words felt like flashes of my own words that I had said before. I gulped down hard. Did she just say that?! No. I would've heard it wrong?! The tension float over my blood, stretches each of my nerves strongly, but I didn't flinch because it hit against me too weak in contrast to her words. Months of distance made me....no one? Huh?! "Ofcourse. I- I am~" My insides weakened. I couldn't gather enough energy to throw the word out. "I- I stand as no one for you. But...hm, but I thought atleast we could be honest with each other?!" I said. "O" She nodded and held her breathe. "Alright! If you want me to be honest, then listen. Stop hitting on every chance you get, Jacob!" Another drop of tear escaped her eyes, hot and convulsed with anger. She suppressed her sobs down and shuddered vigorously. "Jus- just stop making me feel that way." I stood there...that felt like recalling last night, where she walks out of it so smoothly once again. How? My eyes fills in with glassy layer of tears. Although it was just a drop of water with trapped hurricanes of my feelings within it. My fingers curled tight into a fist, as if it was trying to hold onto whatever she'd say. Do I make her feel taken advantage of?

My dream continued the one I'd been having for the past couple of nights. I ran, gasping for breath, through the familiar woods from a dark figure behind me. The faster I tried to run, the slower I seemed to go, until it was like I was running in place. I knew I needed to run. I was terrified of what the figure would do when he caught me. "Mara Leigh," a deep, smooth voice called. It was almost hypnotic. That was new. The figure had never spoke before now. I ran as fast as I could go, eyes searching the forest floor for a big stick or something that I could use to defend myself. "Mara Leigh!" the voice came again, this time more insistent. The forest slowly started to fade and I started to awake to someone shaking my shoulders. "Beau?" I mumbled, turning my head to the side. What's Beau doing in my room this time of night? Why is he shaking me? "Do not call me that name." My eyes flew open as I jumped at the voice from my dream. A face was right in front of mine, and just like the voice, it wasn't Beau. Before I could form a scream, a hand covered my mouth. I tried to bite it but I couldn't get my mouth to open. He's too strong. I started to use my whole body to try to get away, but he crawled on top of me, holding me down. I pulled the hidden knife out from under my pillow and slashed as hard as I could at him, but he just grabbed my wrist and squeezed it until the pain made me drop the knife. Then he grabbed both my hands in one of his and held them over my head. He held me down while I struggled. I grunted and moved and tried to kick and scream, but I only wore myself out. Exhausted, I stopped thrashing and let the tears flow freely down my cheeks. I didn't know what to do, so I just tried to prepare myself for whatever was coming.
