Avery's friend somehow ends up convincing her to enter a contest on YouTube. 

The contest? You must submit a video titled "YouTube Star Contest" telling about yourself and of what you are doing, for a chance to be discovered by your idol.  She does and wins a chance to be discovered by her idol: Selena Gomez.  Selena thinks starting off Avery's career would be best if she recorded a duet with a YouTube discovered artist.  

But when she ends up meeting THE Austin Mahone, they feel a connection. A connection that pulls them together, and makes them want more than they can get from each other. She ends falls for him and he falls for her too -HARD!
